Pelvic Health Physical Therapy

Pelvic health is at the heart of Auria. Our specialists combine advanced pelvic health expertise with a whole-body approach to care, helping people navigate pregnancy, postpartum recovery, bladder, bowel, and sexual health concerns, pelvic pain, and every stage of life.
What We Treat

Conditions we specialize in.

01

Postpartum Recovery

Your postpartum journey doesn’t have a timeline. Whether you’re six weeks, six months, or six years postpartum, our specialists help you recover from pregnancy and birth by treating concerns like pelvic pain, bladder leakage, prolapse, diastasis recti, scar tissue, and core dysfunction—so you can return to the life and activities you love.

02

Birth Prep

Preparing for birth is about more than managing discomfort—it’s about helping your body move, adapt, and perform when it matters most. Whether you’re experiencing pain or simply want to feel stronger and more confident throughout pregnancy, we’re here to help you prepare for what’s ahead.

03

Urinary Issues

Bladder problems are common, but they aren’t something you have to live with. Our specialists take a whole-body approach to treating urinary leakage, urgency, frequent urination, nighttime urination, urinary retention, recurring urinary tract infections, and other bladder concerns—helping you find lasting relief and return to daily life with greater confidence.

04

Bowel Issues

Bowel problems are common, but they don’t have to be your normal. Many bowel concerns are connected to the way your pelvic floor, abdomen, and nervous system work together. Our specialists take a whole-body approach to treating constipation, bloating, abdominal cramping, bowel urgency, fecal incontinence, and other bowel concerns—helping you find lasting relief and return to daily life with greater comfort and confidence.

05

Sexual Health

Sexual health is an important part of overall well-being, yet many people suffer in silence. Our specialists take a whole-body approach to treating painful intercourse, pelvic pain, changes after pregnancy, erectile dysfunction, and other sexual health concerns—helping you feel more comfortable, confident, and connected.

06

Back, Hip & Tailbone Pain

Back, hip, and tailbone pain often involve more than muscles and joints alone. Our specialists evaluate how your pelvic floor works together with the rest of your body to identify the underlying contributors to pain and help you return to the activities you love.

07

Pelvic Pain

Pelvic pain is complex, and lasting relief often requires looking beyond the site of pain. Our specialists take a whole-body approach to treating conditions like endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, vulvodynia, vaginismus, pudendal neuralgia, piriformis syndrome, and other pelvic pain conditions—helping you move toward lasting relief and a better quality of life.

08

Endometriosis

Endometriosis affects far more than the reproductive system. Our specialists take a whole-body approach to addressing the pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, bowel and bladder symptoms, scar tissue, and movement limitations that often accompany endometriosis—helping you move toward meaningful relief and improved quality of life.

09

Post-Surgical Recovery

Healing doesn’t end when your incision closes. Our specialists help address the lasting effects of scar tissue and movement restrictions following abdominal, pelvic, hip, and spine surgeries—supporting recovery from pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, bowel and bladder changes, and other post-surgical concerns through whole-body rehabilitation.

Every person begins with a comprehensive whole-body evaluation and a personalized plan designed around their needs and goals. Every visit is guided by a licensed specialist and rooted in our commitment to expert care, whole-person health, and lifelong wellness.

Sasha is amazing! Her fascia release is healing in ways that other PTs never helped with. It took ten years, but I finally found an incredible PT.

I cannot recommend Dr. Sasha from Auria enough—she truly saved me! Before finding her, I had seen other physical therapists who gave me incomplete or even incorrect information, and my issue was never resolved. Dr. Sasha is incredibly professional and reassuring. She takes a brilliant holistic approach to pelvic health, making you feel seen and heard as a whole person. She helped me through a very difficult time and delivered life-changing results. I am so grateful for her care and highly recommend her to anyone. Plus, Dr Sasha and her team are very friendly, always on time, and very responsive. She is the absolute best in Los Angeles!

100% recommend. Romina never pushes me too far and always makes sure I am comfortable. I have had chronic pelvic pain for over a decade and since working with Romina I have gone a whole week with no pain waking me up at night, which before pelvic floor therapy I was lucky to get 1-2 nights with no pain. And my husband and I have been able to be “closer” more often from the relief I have gotten from my sessions.

After having a myomectomy that removed multiple fibroids and endometriosis, I’m so glad I found Auria as my pelvic floor therapy provider to aid my recovery. My goal was to regain strength and confidence in working out again and I’ve gotten more out of my therapy program than I expected. Romina has helped me rebuild my pelvic and deep core strength with internal and external therapy, and also teaching me so much about my body. I’ve learned my nervous system has been totally overstressed for so long, my lower back pain is due to a weak inner core, and how much tension is held in the pelvic floor. She taught me how to properly do kegals, how to engage and relax my pelvic floor, how to coordinate my breathing with my pelvic floor, and she’s helped manage my concerns about scarring, lower back pain. I feel like every women should see a pelvic floor therapist and I would 100% recommend Auria and Romina.

The sessions with Dr Sasha at Auria Pelvic Health have been very professional and Dr Sasha is extremely knowledgable in all things to do with the back, hips and general health. I have been encouraged to do a gentle exercise programme to keep my back moving and to keep down inflammation. In addition she is extremely personable and friendly. I fully recommend going to see her at her clinic.

In just 2 weeks of working with Romina I’ve experienced big improvement with the issues I came in for. My quality of life has improved. She’s patient, caring, and passionate about her work. The front office gals, Kim and Ashley, have also been excellent and on top of it in communication. Overall, great experience.

I am a physical therapist myself and sought out Sasha as she is known in the field as being a top notch clinician. She was my last resort after struggling with SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) for over 2 years. Yes, pelvic health specialists help address gut issues!! I was kicking myself for not going sooner. I tried all the antibiotics, saw a GI doctor and naturopath, but what my body really needed was Sasha. She helped to address very deep scar tissue adhesions from a past abdominal surgery. Not only has she helped my gut issues, but indirectly, helped my hip labral tear too which was a plus. Again, I am a physical therapist and am knowledgable about how to treat myself with traditional PT, but Sasha was the key to unlocking all the fascia, restricted tissue that was desperately needing to be addressed. She is kind, patient, and makes you feel very comfortable. If you are struggling with gut issues, or even labral/hip issues. Go see her, sooner than later. Life is too short to be uncomfortable and in pain.

From day one Dr. Sasha made the appointments a calm, friendly and welcoming environment. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome from Ashley. She made the space very open and comforting. Within a few minutes of my first appointment Dr. Sasha was able to come up with a comprehensive and manageable plan. She was able to determine the work that was needed to correct my issues. I had major surgery in my lower abdomen when I was 6 years ago to remove a tumor. I had Rhabdomyosarcoma and needed extensive surgery, chemo and radiation. For most of my life I have had chronic lower back pain and bladder issues. I have seen many doctors and specialists who have provided little to no help for my issues. Before I saw Dr. Sasha I began to become hopeless. Within these sessions I started to notice my back pain diminish and my bladder issues improved tremendously. My tight hips and pelvic floor issues also began to improve. For the first time in my life I found real answers and someone who understood my complex complaints. Dr. Sasha truly is one of the most knowledgeable medical professionals I have ever worked with. Dr. Sasha also worked on pill rolling my abdomen to break up my scar tissue from my past surgeries. From the skin rolling sessions I was able to start breathing fully with my diaphragm and feeling my core. Dr. Sasha also helped show me how to walk correctly using proper hip alignment. Dr. Sasha is someone who I will continue to see even from the East Coast. I would recommend her to everyone I know!!
